I got a text from Luke mid-afternoon. He wanted to know if I needed anything at the store. He said he was going to make ribs for supper tonight.
No, I didn't need anything and did I understand correctly that HE was going to cook supper?
Yes, I did, in fact understand correctly, and when I got home the house smelled like one of those wonderful barbeque joints that makes your mouth water by simply inhaling!
What a great guy that Luke is. I should mention that on Monday, CB made a pot of chili that was quite tastey. He even did the shopping for that meal. Dang, I about have these boys trained, don't I?
I wish I didn't like to cook so much because I could easily assign them each a night or two or three to cook and I'd take the weekends (when we usually eat out!).
Luke says he wants me to put together a cookbook of all his favorite meals which I think will be fun. I thought I'd cook each dish and take a photo so he'll have some idea of what it's supposed to look like.
One thing is for sure, I won't have to teach him how to make ribs!
