Yesterday I got flowers at work.
Wasn't my birthday or my anniversary or CB saying he's sorry for a big fight.
It was a student and his parents saying thank you for the help I gave the student over the past month. The kid had made a series of bad choices and I helped with damage control.
If parents sent me flowers every time I did damage control for a kid's bad choices, my office would look like a funeral home.
I'd have the same amount of crying.
